Frequently asked questions
What happens if I go over my submission limit?
Submissions are never rejected, even over your plan's limit or when flagged as spam — only your visibility into them is limited until you upgrade. Your customers can always reach you.
What are AI credits?
AI credits meter Contactly's AI features — summaries, draft replies, rewriting, translation, and auto-tagging. Each plan includes a monthly allotment; unused credits don't carry over.
Is spam protection really free on every plan, including Free?
Yes. Honeypot fields, rate limiting, rule and AI spam scoring, and optional CAPTCHA are on by default on every tier, including Free. We don't gate trust and safety behind a paywall.
Can I upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime?
Yes. Plan changes take effect immediately and are prorated through Shopify's billing system. You can cancel from the app at any time.
Can I export my data if I cancel?
Yes. You can export your forms and submission history before canceling, and your data remains available for a grace period afterward.
